the smartphone for people who don’t want a smartphone

A conventional smartphone is designed to maximise usage: more apps, more notifications, more stimuli and more screen time. The FocusPhone takes the opposite approach. We’ve removed everything that doesn’t add direct value: No unrestricted access to unnecessary apps; no constant notifications; no interfaces designed to hold your attention. Instead, it offers a simple experience: a single, clear screen with access to essential apps, pre-configured to suit your needs. What’s more, you don’t have to worry about complex settings. At FocusWave, we set up every device so that it’s ready to use from the very start, avoiding any hassle and ensuring a consistent experience right from the outset.

Of course! You can add as many essential apps as you need. For example, you can request WhatsApp, Spotify, Waze, your bank’s app or your favourite email service. Apart from games and social media apps, most apps are usually fine. Drop us a line if you have any questions.

Of course it does. The FocusPhone includes a customisation service even after purchase. If you need to add or change apps, simply email us at info@focuswave.org with your order number and a list of apps. We’ll send you simple instructions along with an updated file to install on your device. The service includes three free app changes in the first three years. From the fourth change onwards, each new customisation costs €20 (including tax).

No. We block access to all apps that you haven’t specified at the time of purchase. You won’t be able to install any social media apps, games or other distractions. And if you access the internet via a web browser, we’ve blocked all domains containing inappropriate content (games, social media, films, adult sites, etc.).
